Why It Matters
Compliance gaps are expensive. The paperwork is the proof.
Small businesses subject to RCRA hazardous waste rules face the same documentation requirements as large generators — without a dedicated compliance team. A missed label, an expired contingency plan, or an undocumented waste determination can trigger fines that dwarf the cost of getting it right.
Bluegill Compliance builds tools that walk you through the requirements step by step, generate the records you need to keep, and help you stay current as regulations evolve. You bring the facility knowledge. We handle the framework.

About
The expert your facility doesn't have on staff, built by someone who has been on both sides of the clipboard.
There are compliance professionals who have read the regulations, and there are compliance professionals who have lived inside them. Josh Dolezal is the second kind.
Before moving into environmental compliance, Josh was an operations leader in industrial companies. He spent time in coal fired power plants as a Chemical Technician and HazMat Specialist, in metal finishing as a Chemistry Manager, and at a specialty brazing alloy manufacturer as a Value Stream Manager. He learned through experience the rhythms of production, the calculus of operational risk, and the pressures that keep plant managers up at night. That foundation shapes how he approaches every compliance problem. He has managed environmental programs at electroplating and surface finishing facilities and large-scale biorefinery operations in Wisconsin, covering air permitting, wastewater discharge, drinking water systems, high capacity wells, and hazardous waste under state and federal rules. He has been on the receiving end of inspections and audits from the EPA, Wisconsin DNR, and the Department of Agriculture, to name a few.
The insight that drives Bluegill Compliance is straightforward: most small and mid-sized manufacturers don't have an environmental expert on staff. When a regulation changes or an inspector shows up, the default is to guess, defer, or make an expensive call after the fact. Bluegill's tools are what happens when that expertise gets built into a product. You don't just get a template. You get the framework and risk mitigation Josh would walk you through himself.
Bluegill is a Wisconsin LLC. Our tools are built directly on federal regulatory code, structured around how the rules actually apply to your facility. When the regulations change, the products update, and you have time to address that supply chain problem.
